2022 and New Stuff Coming!

2022 looks like a year to make some changes. To that end, I’ve signed up with the Brater Agency. The collection of writers and creators connected to the agent are phenomenal, and I’m honored to be among their ranks. It’s especially dear to me as college mentor of mine, and award-winning playwright, Brad Korbesmeyer started the agency.

The Book of Boba Fett is…interesting. I’m contemplating a heroic break down like I did with The Mandalorian, but I really need to see more to understand the character’s arc.

While I haven’t plunged back into the Damulis series, I plan to work on book five this summer. Figners crossed, it will be out by fall.

What’s not changing is the live streams on Twitch. As part of the Oddlot RP group, I’m in three live streams a week: Aetherflux on Sundays, Oddlot Mondays, and Hunters on Wednesdays. The Wednesday game I run as the game master, so if you enjoy my novels, check out my live storytelling. Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is an amazing way to create collaborative stories and I’m gratified to see that this game I’ve played for decades is part of mainstream culture now. Sylvie

In my personal life, we’ve added a puppy. This is one reason I’m not writing right now; it’s hard to concentrate between the barking, puppy-pad clean-ups, and near constant play sessions. She’s a cute little border collie, though, so she’s got that going for her. We called her Sylvie, after the female co-lead in the MCU Loki series. She’s doing her best to live up to the name. I still miss my Wiley-boy dearly, but Sylvie is working her way into my heart. Our cat Minnie is more dubious
